An agent's rules usually sit in a long prompt it is expected to remember — and by the middle of the work it forgets them. Signal Wire does not rely on memory: it watches what the agent is asked, what it says and every command it runs, in real time — blocks unsafe commands and injects the right rule or past lesson at the moment it applies. It works the same way in Claude Code, opencode and our own harness.
